Another city wedding I can swoon over! Sofi and Dan got married in Oxford. I would classify this wedding as a real Rock’n’Roll wedding. Sofi comes from a musical family and Dan is a drummer (plus they had plenty of musicians in their guest list too). So it’s not surprising that their wedding had a musical theme running through it! They had a Humanist Ceremony at the Holywell Music Room (the first concert-hall in Britain) where a friend played piano as the guests sat down, they named their tables after their favourite (vinyl) albums (Jeff Buckley - My Sweetheart The Drunk, Kate Bush - Hounds of Love, Björk - Violently Happy and David Bowie - Oh! You Pretty Things) and they had themselves and friends and family dj into the evening (again, vinyl only!).
In regards to other details, Sofi made all the bouquets (she’s a florist by trade), she had a stunning gown and cape from Kate Beaumont paired with Bryr Clogs and some chunky rings. Dan wore a bespoke blue suit from Walters of Oxford. One of their friends (Little Earthquake Pots) made handmade tea-light holders as favours and they made each others wedding rings at The Quarter Workshop (one of my favourite suppliers, I made my own wedding rings there too!). And, of course, they ended up wearing their Ray Bans for quite a few of the couple photos.
